Robogals North America : ウィキペディア英語版 | Robogals North America
Robogals North America is a branch of the international, student-run organization Robogals. We aim to substantially increase the number of young women pursuing STEM fields in their studies and careers by engaging them in workshops that involve robotics and other engineering-oriented activities. Robogals North America currently has chapters at seven universities across the United States and Canada. ==History== Robogals North America was founded in 2012 when Marita Cheng and Mark Parncutt, with the help of Garima Gupta, expanded their international organization to the United States. The inaugural SINE (Seminars Inducting New Executives) conference had students from three universities in attendance - California Institute of Technology, University of Arizona, and Columbia University. These schools became the homes of North America's first three Robogals chapters. The following year, Robogals North America expanded into Canada. 2013 also marked the formation of the Regional Leadership Team.
